I believe…
Being in the moment can change our perspective on life
I am…
A busy Mom to two young boys
I find balance in my own life through practising yoga and Pilates. I am passionate about supporting women to make time for self-care and find balance in their own lives through all the phases of our journey through life.
An anatomy nerd
I have been fascinated by the human body ever since I was a child and I am always learning something new. Understanding the ‘why’ behind exercises and asana keeps teaching fresh and exciting for me.
Happiest in my kitchen
Happiest in my kitchen
I love to cook and bake and learn about healthy eating. I love to experiment with dishes from India and would love to travel there one day and experience the culture, history and food.
Christie Otto, Yoga and Pilates Instructor,
Christie loves sharing her passion for the body. It all ignited in 2004 when she was a hard working physiotherapy student and noticed how this lifestyle affected her back.
As a practising physiotherapist, Christie discovered that pilates could alleviate and manage chronic pain amongst her patients and that this modality empowered them through their healing process.
Christie’s favourite quote is: ‘Change happens through movement, and movement heals’ Joseph Pilates.
She massages her knowledge of physiology throughout her yoga and pilates classes and loves sharing the ‘why’ behind exercises with her scientific and detail-oriented knowledge.
Teaching movement classes fills her cup and she feels energised by her clients’ transformations. Her friends describe her as uncomplicated, kind and generous. And we could not agree more.
Christie is one of those people who make you feel calm in her presence and takes the time to get to know everyone around her.
